Cookie Policy
What we store on your device, why, and how to change your choice at any time.
Last updated: 19 June 2026
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. We also use similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage. Together they let a site remember things between visits — like the cookie choice you make below — and help us understand how the site is used. This policy sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
Our approach to cookies
We use Google's Consent Mode: non-essential cookies, including analytics, are switched off by default and are only set once you accept them. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject analytics cookies, and we remember your choice. Essential storage needed to run the site and to honour that choice is always on.
You can review or change your choice at any time:
The cookies we use
Strictly necessary
To remember whether you accepted or rejected cookies, we store a single value (yt-cookie-consent) in your browser's local storage. It contains only your choice, is not used to track you, and is never shared. Because it exists purely to honour your preference, it does not require consent.
Analytics — only with your consent
If you accept, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. It sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id> (typically lasting up to two years) to distinguish visitors and measure usage. We do not use this data for advertising. You can learn more in Google's privacy policy, and install Google's opt-out browser add-on to block it everywhere.
We also use Apollo.io, a business-to-business visitor analytics tool that helps us understand which organisations show interest in our services. Like Google Analytics, it loads only after you accept, and sets cookies or storage to recognise return visits. See Apollo's privacy policy for more.
Third-party content
Our newsletter sign-up form is provided by Kit (ConvertKit). When it loads, Kit may set its own cookies or storage to operate the form. We also link to our profile on LinkedIn, but we do not embed tracking from it on our pages.
Managing cookies in your browser
Beyond the preferences control above, every major browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings. Blocking all cookies may affect how some sites work. Removing the cookies set by this site will also clear your saved preference, so the banner will appear again on your next visit.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or the tools we use change. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
