Privacy Policy
How we handle the personal data you share with us, and the rights you have over it.
Last updated: 19 June 2026
This policy explains how YourTreasury Ltd(“YourTreasury”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit yourtreasury.ai, contact us, request a download, submit a scoping request, or subscribe to our newsletter. It also sets out your rights under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
For the purposes of data protection law, the data controller is YourTreasury Ltd, registered in England and Wales with company number 15440508 and registered office at Gardeners Cottage, St. Leonards Park, Horsham, RH13 6EG, England. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office under reference ZB767738.
The personal data we collect
Information you give us
When you interact with the site, you may provide:
- Download requests — your name, email address, company and role, so we can send you the requested material and follow up.
- Scoping / RFP requests — your name, email, company and role, together with the details you choose to share about your project (scope, timeline, budget, a free-text brief) and any documents you attach.
- Newsletter sign-up — the email address you submit to our newsletter form.
- Direct contact — any information you include when you email us at [email protected] or connect with us elsewhere.
Information collected automatically
If you accept analytics cookies, we collect usage information through Google Analytics and Apollo.io — for example the pages you view, approximate location (derived from your IP address), device and browser type, and, where Apollo can identify it, the organisation you appear to be visiting from. This is only collected with your consent; see our Cookie Policy for detail and for how to change your choice. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and reliability.
How and why we use your data
We use personal data only for the purposes below, relying on the following legal bases under Article 6 of the UK GDPR:
- To respond to enquiries and provide what you ask for (downloads, scoping conversations, proposals) — our legitimate interest in responding to potential and existing clients, and where relevant taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract.
- To send our newsletter — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.
- To understand and improve how the site is used — your consent (analytics cookies).
- To keep the site secure and meet legal obligations — our legitimate interest in protecting the site, and compliance with applicable law.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare — website hosting and content delivery.
- Google — website analytics (only if you consent).
- Apollo.io — business-to-business visitor analytics (only if you consent).
- Kit (ConvertKit) — newsletter sign-up and delivery.
- Mailgun (Sinch)— delivery of the notification emails generated by our forms (we use Mailgun's EU endpoint).
- Microsoft — storage and workflow for enquiries (Azure, and where enabled Power Automate, SharePoint and Teams).
We may also disclose data to professional advisers, or where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
International transfers
Some of these providers process data outside the UK and European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses — so your data receives an equivalent level of protection.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, then delete or anonymise it. Our retention periods are: enquiry and scoping records, 24 months after last contact; newsletter subscribers, until you unsubscribe; analytics data, as configured in Google Analytics (14 months).
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our use of it, to data portability, and — where we rely on consent — to withdraw that consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected].
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access to enquiry data is limited to those who need it, and our delivery and storage providers apply their own security controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us.
Children
The site is aimed at treasury and finance professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
