Introduction to LLMs and AI
Day One - 2 hours

1. Introduction to LLMs

→ Objective: To inspire experimentation with large language models (LLMs) to speed innovation and achieve quick wins.

→ Outcome: By the end of this session, you won’t just understand LLMs – you’ll have a hands-on experience that opens new avenues for how AI can seamlessly integrate and elevate your treasury operations.

2. Innovate with AI: Creating tomorrow’s products today

→ Objective: To inspire creativity and innovation by leveraging AI tools to develop and pitch a new product.

→ Outcome: You’ll leave this session with a deeper appreciation for the creative potential of AI, as well as enhanced skills in teamwork, innovation, and presentation. This exercise will also demonstrate how AI can be a powerful ally in content creation within the treasury space, such as presentations.

Python for Treasury
Day Two - 2 hours

3. An introduction to Python aided by LLMs

→ Objective: To introduce participants to Python and its capabilities, especially when combined with the power of LLMs, for enhanced data analysis in treasury.

→ Outcome: By the end of this session, you’ll have a hands-on understanding of Python’s capabilities in treasury management, supported by the assistance of LLMs, empowering you to enhance your data analysis and decision-making processes.

4. Reflection exercise: Applying AI in your roles

→ Objective: To reflect on the knowledge and skills gained, and to consider how AI can be applied to improve your daily work in treasury.

→ Outcome: You’ll leave with a clear vision of how AI can transform your role and your organisation, along with an actionable plan to start implementing these ideas immediately. This session will reinforce the importance of continuous innovation and adaptation in today’s fast-paced financial environment.

Jessica is an experienced teacher and data scientist who specialises in Python analysis, visualisation and automation. As a former quantitative research scientist, she has been recognised with several Awards for her presentation work, her ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and her contributions to diversity, equity, and inclusion. She holds a PhD in Astronomy & Astrophysics from the University of Toronto with numerous publications in esteemed research journals.

Dominic is an innovative treasurer who has built cutting-edge centralised treasury operating models for unicorn companies Bitpanda and GoStudent. A former consultant for S&P 500 organisations that holds multiple treasury transformation, transaction management and AI awards from Treasury Today (Adam Smith) and TMI. He is a frequent speaker for Tier 1 banks and conferences. He is a key member of the Technology and IBOR Reform working groups for the Austrian Corporate Treasury Association.
